One of the rarest varieties of obsidian in Mexico, Manto Huichol (Velvet Obsidian) is a volcanic crystal that suffered a seismic shock during its cooling — creating successive layers of shifting color that move in the light like an abstraction. Its name and colors are borrowed from the visions of the Wixáritari (Huichol) people during hikuri ceremonies.

Important: We are reaching the last veins of velvet obsidian — very limited availability. This pendant has a small natural gap at the back (visible in photos), which is why it is offered at a more accessible price — not noticeable when worn.
